Go to "Edit" -> "Preferences". Click on "Mail & Newsgroups", choose "Mail Servers".

Click on "Add" button in "Incoming Mail Servers" section. Enter the "Server Name" as mutemail.com, for server type choose "IMAP" and make sure to enter your MuteMail email address (yourname@domain.com) in "User Name" field.

Click on the "IMAP" tab. Check "Use secure connection (SSL)" box.

Click on the "Advanced" tab, and UNCHECK the option "Show only subscribed folders". Make sure that "server supports folders that contain subfolders and messages" is checked. Under "Personal Namespace", enter "INBOX.", and don't forget the trailing period. Click "OK" button.

Set "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" field as mutemail.com. To use alternate SMTP port use "mutemail.com:25002" instead of "mutemail.com". Enter your MuteMail email address in "Outgoing mail server user name:" field. "Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages:" must be "Always". Click "OK" button.

Note: Having Netscape Messenger SSL enabled has no effect on Netscape Mail Notification, this mean that data exchange will be not encrypted if you using it. Therefore we recommend NOT using Netscape Mail Notification for security reason.
